The Andújar City Council wants to implement the ‘Smart City’ project in the city, a project that has been working for a long time in the framework of the Sustainable and Integral Urban Development (EDUSI) strategy. This project includes actions for the incorporation of smart city technologies.
Solución
Part of the Edusi strategy of the Andújar City Council has included installing charging points for mobiles and other devices in public spaces, such as Solar Soleo that offers 100% ecological charging and is a 4G internet access point. The installation is being carried out through the WiFi4EU initiative, whose main objective is to provide high-quality Internet access to residents and visitors throughout the European Union through free Wi-Fi access points located in parks, squares and libraries among other possibilities.
