Reto
The head of General Services of Las Arenas shopping center, managed by Merlin Properties Socimi, raised the idea of providing safe charging points for its clients in strategic areas such as the entrance hall, access to the center from the underground parking and in the information points.
Solución
For the access area to the Las Arenas center, the “PopRock” charging lockers were installed using an electronic keypad that allow the user to close the locker where they are going to deposit their Smartphone with a simple 4-digit code chosen by the same.
The charging system is through the 3n1 Strong – Kevlar anti-hacking cables, which are exclusive to avoid the digital hacking of users’ personal data in public areas.
Each station has capacity for 8 simultaneous and individual charging, and there is even space to store some small-sized complement type bag, backpack etc…
To locate at the information points, the “Soul” locker was chosen, a smaller 3-ticket team with a traditional key lock. This smaller charger is chosen to hang on the wall since it only offers charging service to the information point staff. The charging system is also via 3n1 Strong-Kevlar anti-hacking cable in each locker.
