They are affordable, comfortable, and sustainable, the perfect combination for many young people who have chosen it as they number one option, to move through the streets of large cities.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>2019 was the year of the great landing of electric scooters in Spain. Malaga, Zaragoza, Barcelona, Valencia, Seville, Pamplona or L\u00e9rida were just some of the cities that saw more scooters go through its streets. Some universities aware of the impact of this new sustainable mobility, decided to bet on partnership agreements with electric scooter companies.<\/p>\n<p>We explain the cases of the University of Navarra and the University of Malaga.[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_single_image image=&#8221;9532504&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]The University of Navarra opted for this new technology and signed an agreement with the aim of installing 50 electric scooters on the Pamplona campus, installed in bicycle parking lots. The University intended to promote a non-polluting mobility model that would facilitate the movement of students and professionals through its facilities.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>At the University of Malaga, most of the faculties and buildings of the UMA already have electric scooters for shared use in the parking lots at the entrance of the campus. The University is committed to a sustainable mobility model with the aim of reducing gas emissions and facilitating movement throughout the campus for the entire university community.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Micro mobility seems to be here to stay.
