What is Machine Learning?<\/span><\/h3>\n

Machine Learning (ML) is a scientific discipline belonging to the field of AI, it creates systems that learn automatically. For this discipline, “learning” means identifying complex patterns among millions of data, that is, the machine that learns is an algorithm that processes our data and predicts our future behaviors.<\/span><\/p>\n

Although many manufacturers of smartphones have used this term to attract buyers for some time, there are many brands that have used it to provide added value to their competitors, a clear example is Huawei.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Chinese giant has installed a neuronal processing unit in their devices, this allows the translation of texts in real time and optimize the use of resources of your terminal, in this way while you make use of all these functions, the mobile is learning from user automatically.<\/span><\/p>\n

But the world of smartphones will still go further, since the analysts concluded that the AI has ten potential utilities at least, so both users and manufacturers can benefit over time. These utilities are the following:<\/span><\/p>\n

The new mobile devices can perform actions without the user requesting it, since they will have installed sensors and data stored in the device. This way they can get used to the idea of what users want, when and how they want.<\/span><\/p>\n

With this new tool the passwords will disappear, due to the fact that through a combination between biometrics and AI, many functionalities can be made, including analyzing and detecting patterns as well as the behavior of their users.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thanks to automatic learning, there may be speech recognition systems capable of understanding the requests of its users in a more precise way. Giants like Google is already trying to create this system and is already making progress, last year proposed a small test to users, this was to identify which of the audio samples that showed was real or artificial.<\/span><\/p>\n

Augmented reality and “visual vision”<\/span><\/h3>\n

The combination of AI systems with augmented reality or digital can help different professionals to collect very important data, for example, those that are dedicated to the health sector. This collection could help detect complex diseases for users such as cancer.<\/span><\/p>\n

The use of these systems of the future could detect and eliminate dangerous content. This could be that it violates some law, policy or even certain threats that may be harmful to your device such as malware or applications that are malicious.<\/span><\/p>\n

Google is already starting to make use of this system in their Pixel phones, all this through software that eliminates all types of manual adjustment. But experts suggest that these adjustments will suit the user’s tastes. The fact that the mobile phone may be listening to the user all day could generate fear at the beginning, however, it may stop being so due to the advantages that this could bring.<\/span><\/p>\n
